Acupuncture is a method of healing used around the world. In the East and specifically China it has been  practised for 2500 years.

Acupuncture  promotes  and maintains good health by stimulating specific points in the body, through the use of needles.  These needles are very fine, like a single hair, they are made from stainless steel, sterile and single use only.

There are over 300 acupuncture points and they are located on channels that run through the body which are near nerve pathways that link with the tissues around the body.
In  order to remain healthy, energy  needs to flow freely through these  meridians, any blockages may create imbalance and consequently illness.  By stimulating these points acupuncture restores harmony to the system.

Acupuncture is very individual and therefore it is very important that I take your full medical history and understand how your system works before the treatment, in order to proceed with your unique treatment plan.
You may feel a slight sensation as the needle reaches the acupuncture treatment point but most people feel relaxed and calm.

Over a period of time you will  notice an  improvement in your symptoms coupled with increased energy, better sleep and an overall sense of wellbeing.
